The world famous Duomo and \u201cThe Last Supper\u201d by Leonardo da Vinci, the Opera House \u2013 La Scala, the numerous museums and art galleries: many of Milan\u2019s treasures are hidden to the less attentive eyes of its inhabitants, but it\u2019s all there, waiting to be discovered. Recently, the skyline of the city has been embellished and modernized by the presence of the new skyscrapers, such as the Unicredit Tower. The surroundings of the town are beautiful especially in the Spring time: mountains and lake-shore or seaside famous resorts are within a short reach from the center.
